1 Who is the owner of the data collection?

2 What data do we collect?

In principle, our digital presence can be used without you having to disclose personal data.
In accordance with common practice, certain data, such as IP addresses and other usage information, is automatically collected by our web analysis software and evaluated and processed anonymously.
By using our digital presence, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of such data in accordance with the provisions of this privacy policy.

2.1 Automatic protocols

Our web servers automatically log every visit in a temporary log file.
User-specific data (such as the IP address of the computer used, identification data of the browser used, the operating system of the computer used, the amount of data transferred, the name of the Internet service provider, the date and time of access) and technical data (such as the name and URL of the referring website, when the website was accessed via a link and, in addition, the search term if the website was accessed via a search engine) are logged and analyzed anonymously.
This data is primarily required to enable the use of our content (connection establishment) and for internal, system-related purposes, such as technical administration and system security.

We do not use your data for other purposes unless you have given your express additional consent to further data processing in the context of using certain services.

2.2 Further data processing

To use some of our online services, you must first register with personal data in the login.
The use of such services is subject to a contractual agreement and the associated conditions of participation or General Terms and Conditions (GTC).
In addition, we only process personal data if you send it to us, for example by completing an online form or sending us a message via our contact forms.

In these cases, we ask you to provide only the personal data that we need to provide the services offered.

4 Cookie policy

4.4 Web analysis services

We use various web analysis services, such as Webtrends, an analysis service of Webtrends Inc, Jetpack (from Automattic), Logaholic or Google Analytics for selected applications, a network analysis service of Google Inc. The web analysis services use cookies (see 4.1), which evaluate the use of the digital presence in order to obtain information for the purpose of improving our services and to carry out a statistical evaluation of our visitor traffic. It is not possible to draw conclusions about individual persons. The information generated can be transferred to a server abroad and stored there. You can prevent the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser software (see section 4.5). 4.5 How can the use of cookies and web analysis tools be prevented?

5 Do we disclose your data to others?

If Aartesys engages third parties to provide services, it is entitled to make the necessary data available to the engaged third parties, whereby these are subject to the same data protection obligations as Aartesys itself.
Apart from this, personal data will not be passed on to third parties or forwarded in any other way without your express consent.
It may be passed on within the Aartesys Group.
We only keep your information for as long as necessary and treat it confidentially.
Excluded from this is the transfer of personal data to public bodies and authorities as well as to private individuals who are entitled to it due to legal provisions, court decisions or official orders, as well as the transfer to authorities for the purpose of initiating legal proceedings or for criminal prosecution purposes if our legally protected rights are attacked.

The login information exchanged between your hardware and us is encrypted.
We accept no liability for unauthorized access or loss of personal data that is outside our control.
